What's in Your E-Juice?

If you have been thinking about making the switch to a vaporizer, or have just been wondering about whether or not a vaporizer and e-juice is something that you’d like to get into for the first time, hopefully we are able to shed a little bit of extra light on the subject for you as far as what e-juice really is and what it is you are smoking with these products.

What is in e-juice, anyway?

For starters, it’s important to define exactly what e-juice is and what it is not so that you know exactly what you’re getting into when you decide to start vaporizing with these products.

The fluid used to “power” vaporizers, e-juice is available in a variety of different flavors and a number of different nicotine strengths (including 100% nicotine free). Primarily made up of propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin (with about 10% food grade flavorings, nicotine, and food coloring added into the mix), e-juice is about as clean and about as clear a vaporizer fluid as you can enjoy – and is considerably safer to enjoy than cigarettes by a wide margin.

As we highlighted above, 90% of the e-juice is going to be made up of 100% safe natural oils and act as the vaporizing fluid to begin with. Liquid nicotine is added (in small quantities and sometimes not at all), and then a bit of food grade flavoring and food coloring is added on top to give the e-juice the zip and zing that helps it to separate it apart from the rest of the pack.

Is e-juice safe?

Well, this is a matter of objectivity, as anytime you are talking about inhaling nicotine you’re talking about doing at least a little bit of damage to your body. But many agree that using a vaporizer – and e-juice products that allow you to completely control the amount of nicotine that you consume – is considerably safer than smoking cigarettes where you have no control over the nicotine level or the amount of dangerous additives and fillers that always make their way into these products.

At the end of the day, it will be entirely up to you to decide whether or not a vaporizer with e-juice is the right decision for you. Hopefully we have been able to shine a little bit of light on the subject for you and you feel better informed moving forward!
